Program Questions
How much does it cost to be a Memolink member?
There is no cost for Memolink membership. However, Memolink features shopping and special offers that require payment or credit card information.
Is Memolink available to non-U.S. residents?
Unfortunately, Memolink isn't a global Website. Only people living in the United States are eligible for membership. If you are not living in the U.S. and still register and use Memolink.com, your account will be disabled.
Does Memolink allow multiple accounts per household?
As of February 10, 2004, Memolink does not allow persons to create multiple accounts per household. Only one Memolink account may be created per household. Any additional accounts found to be created within the same household will be disabled and forfeit any points and/or pending rewards.
I can't get a link on the Memolink site to work. Why?
Please report broken links! Simply copy the link and paste it into your help request. Please describe what happens when you click on the link. Do you get an error? If so, what does it say? Do you get a blank page? Please try clearing your temporary internet files. You may want to clear out your cookies as well and make sure your browser is set to accept cookies. If you are using a bookmark or favorite places link to access the Website, or if you are using an email link, you should probably STOP trying to connect to the site this way. Please manually type in www.memolink.com in the address bar of your browser and then log into your Memolink account. Any extra information you can also provide us will help us solve the problem as quickly as possible. Thank you!
How many times can an offer be completed?
Special offers that award a lump-sum amount of points such as clubs, memberships, applications and registrations can only be completed ONCE. However, members are able to shop through Memolink's partners as many times as they'd like. Most shopping partners award a number of "points per dollar spent."
Why am I not receiving Memomails from Memolink to earn points?
Most of the time, members do not receive Memomails because their e-mail program/host has decided to block them. Please make sure to set your email program settings so that the following email addresses are protected:

While this may not guarantee them being received, it might help. If you still don't receive Memomails, you may want to contact your e-mail client and let them know that you've chosen to get these e-mails and that you'd like them to stop blocking them. It could be that they are blocking all e-mails sent from all of our mail server IP addresses. If that is the case, we recommend you change the e-mail address in your Memolink account to a different e-mail program. There are many free ones out there to choose from online. Recent studies conducted by Memolink show that gmail users receive fewer bounces then members that use other email service providers. Gmail is free and may be accessed at: www.gmail.com
I have unsubscribed/canceled my account and I am still receiving emails! When will they stop?
Please keep in mind that you may still receive our emails for up to a week after you have removed or unsubscribed your account. If you continue to receive emails more than a week from your removal date, please submit a help request. Also, please include the date that you removed or unsubscribed your account and the email address that is supposed to be affected in your request.
What is a Click Code?
Click Codes are used for tracking a member's click to a Memolink partner's Website. Please note, however, that they do not track transactions and they cannot be used as a substitute for proof of our members' purchases. Click Codes are recorded and saved in your account history for 30 days. This helps us by leaving a 'footprint' of where a member was on the site before clicking through to a partner's Website. Please note Click Codes are not recorded for links from Memomails.
Can anyone rate a store?
You must be a Memolink member and have made a purchase at the store to rate or review it.
Memolink publishes both positive and negative reviews. However, Memolink reserves the right to omit any comments that infringes the intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights of others, including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent or trade secrets; is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable; offers or disseminates fraudulent goods, services, schemes, or promotions (e.g., make-money-fast schemes, chain letters, pyramid schemes); include domain names, URLs or hyperlinks; uses the Store Ratings for commercial purposes such as advertising, promotion or solicitation; includes the impersonation of any person or entity or forging of any email communication or any part of a message.
Point Questions
How soon are points credited to my account?
Most of Memolink's partners report transactions to Memolink once or twice a month. When you earn points for making a purchase or completing a special offer, the points usually post within 14 to 30 days. Sometimes, however, it might take more time to get the information from a partner.
Are points awarded for taxes and/or shipping charges on purchases through Memolink?
Memolink partners do not include commission to Memolink on any taxes or shipping charges. Since we pass on part of our commission to our members in the form of points, points are not awarded for those fees. When making a purchase through your Memolink account, members are only awarded points on the cost of the merchandise before any taxes and/or shipping charges are incurred.
Are purchases made through a Bill Me Later type of purchase eligible for Memolink points?
Any purchase made through Memolink is eligible for points if the partner reports it to Memolink. Read the partner's details on their specific partner page on Memolink's Website for the partner's specific policies and practices.
Can I get points for offer completions I did more than 4 months ago?
Point issues need to be resolved within four (4) months of the transaction. Members need to email Memolink immediately if 35-45 days have passed and you still have not received points for your transactions. Remember, points can take up to 30 days to appear in your account.
Can I transfer all or at least some of my points to my friends and family member's accounts?
Memolink points are non-transferable. Even if you decide you want to cancel your Memolink account, you will not be able to give your points to another member.
Can my Star Meter expire?
Star Meters expire for Memolink members who are inactive in their Memolink account for a period of 30 consecutive days will have their redeemable points total expire. At any time those points may be credited back to a member's account, however, if a member goes for a period of 120 consecutive days with no activity in the account, they may have their points credited back to the account BUT the Star Meter will not be able to be reset to its previous status. It will be reset back to an "empty tank."
Do I get points for purchasing gift cards or gift certificates through Memolink's partners?
Only specific partners allow Memolink to award points on gift cards or gift certificates purchased through Memolink. You can find a comprehensive list of partners that do allow points to be awarded for such purchases in Memolink's Gift Card category. Please note, members must use the link in the Gift Cards category to qualify for Memolink points.
Do you have to use the same email address registered to your Memolink account when completing offers?
To ensure you are awarded for transactions made through Memolink, please use the same email address as your Memolink login. If you use another address this could result in faulty tracking and reporting, and Memolink is not responsible for awarding points in these situations.
Should I keep confirmation emails from the offers I complete?
Memolink must rely on its partners to provide us with members' transaction information. This information is used to award points. If for some reason you were not tracked by our partner, Memolink may ask you to provide a confirmation email, including the headers, so that your transaction may be researched and your points awarded. Please note, it does not guarantee Memolink will award you points.
What do red points in the Points History mean?
Red points in Points History indicate a negative points transaction. Normally when points are removed from an account, it means Memolink lost its commission from a partner on a transaction by a member. A number of things could cause a point reversal. For example: transactions being canceled, exchanged, or items are returned partially or entirely.
What happens if I receive an error while trying to complete a purchase?
If you have passed the partner's page on Memolink and in the process of completing a transaction on the partner's Website, the error would be caused by a technical problem on the site of the partner. Please email Member Support the name of the partner and a description of the error you received. Please try to describe the specific page you were on when you received the error. If you still would like to receive Memolink points for your transaction, do not call the partner directly on the phone. You will not be tracked, nor will you receive Memolink points! Memolink will contact the partner and alert them to the error. Once they have fixed the problem, you can then complete your transaction via Memolink and receive the points.
If I use a coupon when I shop on memolink.com, will I get points?
You receive points for purchases made with coupons listed on memolink.com. Sometimes you may use a coupon listed on another Website, however, we cannot guarantee you will receive points unless it is listed on memolink.com.
Memogold Questions
How do I become a Memogold Member?
When you earn points from offers that have a star status, it reflects in your Star Meter found on the My Account page. Memolink members who "fill up" their Star Meter completely become eligible Memogold members for six months. In order to activate your Memogold membership you must log into your account and visit the Memogold Membership page in the My Account section. You can maintain your Memogold status by "filling up" your Star Meter again within your six month membership. It's just that easy!
What are the benefits of the Memogold program?
Memogold members receive a 10% increase on all points earned, first priority for Member Support responses, Lightning Round Trivia, special extra point earning opportunities and more!
Can I spend more on the site to buy or renew my Memogold Membership?
Sure! When you earn points from offers that have a star status, you can renew your Memogold status by "filling up" your Star Meter again within your six month membership.
How does the Star Meter work?
When you earn points from offers that have a star status, your Star Meter "fills up." Any store or offer that lists a star next to it qualifies. Unfortunately, free-point opportunities like Trivia do not qualify towards "filling up" the Star Meter, or get you closer towards Memogold membership. One purchase or point-transaction does not always equal "filling up" one star in the Star Meter. Once members reach 10%, one of their stars will be filled in, 20% of the way will get you two stars filled in, and so forth and so on. Hint: stores and offers worth more points are going to "fill" your stars much faster. Also, there is not a standard points value that indicate how many points "fill" all ten stars. If you continue to take surveys and online purchases, you will begin to see your Star Meter stars "filled."
Can my Star Meter expire?

How do I re-qualify if my Memogold status expires?
If your Memogold membership expires and you have yet to fill up your Star Meter, it will still continue to calculate the same as when you were a Memogold member. Although, your account will revert back to regular Memolink status. Once your Star Meter fills up again, you may then upgrade yourself to Memogold status again for a six month time period.
If I lose my Memogold status, do I lose those increased points I've already earned?
No - all points earned during your reign as a Memogold member are yours to keep regardless of change in status! If you have pending points for offers that you completed while you were a Memogold member, you will still receive the 10% extra on those points when they are credited to your account, even if your Memogold membership has expired.
Login Questions
The Website won't let me login!
The first thing to do if you are having trouble logging into Memolink, is to clear your cache. The process of clearing your cache is different depending on the browser you use (AOL, Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, etc.). If you need instructions, please include the type of browser you are using in your help request. Don't forget to include the version (4.0, 5.0, 6.0, etc.).
Can members register for more than one account?
Members may only maintain one account per individual. Any duplicate accounts found will be disabled by Memolink. If an account is disabled due to this violation, all points are forfeited as well as any pending rewards. Memolink has the sole discretion to determine if an individual has registered for more than one account.
How do I change my email address and/or my account profile?
Members may change your mailing address, password, email address and other personal informaiton. Simply log into your Memolink account and go to the
My Account tab at the top of the Website. Please note, however, Memolink members may not change the name in an account. To change your name, you will need to send a request to Memolink member support with a request.
Reward Questions
How long does it take for rewards to be sent?
The average processing time for rewards is currently about seven days depending on the availability of the reward, although sometimes you might see it shipped within the same day! When your reward is shipped, you will see the date in your Account History as well as receive an email informing you that it is being shipped.
I forgot to update my mailing address and I didn't get my reward. Will you send me another one?
Unless returned to Memolink, memolink.com is not responsible for lost rewards due to an inaccurate address listed in the member's account. Memolink is also not responsible for lost or stolen rewards after it has been received by the member.
I have misplaced my gift card. What should I do?
Unfortunately, Memolink is not able to resend a gift card or gift certificate that is accidentally lost or misplaced. Treat your reward/gift card like cash - anybody may use it.
Canada Questions
Does Memolink calculate points in Canadian currency?
No, all order and point amounts are based on U.S. dollars. Orders reported to Memolink in Canadian dollars are converted to U.S. dollars at ratio of 1-to-1.
Will my redemption be in Canadian or U.S. currency?
Your redemption will be paid in U.S. dollars. However, we will be adding Canadian reward options soon! When you redeem your points for cash (check), ask your bank about policies and fees for currency conversion.
If I redeem my points for PayPal, what currency will I receive?
PayPal will automatically convert reward amounts to Canadian dollars. Refer to PayPal for information on currency conversion rates and transaction fees.
Which stores can I shop at on Memolink if I live in Canada?
The stores listed in our
Canada Stores category page are either based in Canada, or have been identified to have Canada-friendly shipping. Other stores on memolink.com may also ship to Canadian addresses, but you should check the store's site for details on policies and shipping charges. You are responsible for any duties charged for products shipping from the U.S. to Canada.
